WMA around a reservior with mowed paths and lawns, shrubby old fields, successional forests with tuliptree, cherry, red maple, and a few patches of old, natural forest.;Lower Northeast flank of low hill dissected by several small gullies. Community is a spectacular old growth forest dominated by large red oak and white oak, with maples and hickory. Sugar maple dominates the tall shrub layer, and ferns dominate the herbs. There are abundant large snags, tip mounds, and down wood of various ages. The rare orchid Triphora trianthophora occurs in plot and is scattered throughout natural and semi-natural forests on this slope.
